Anthonia Emezie, M.D.
Anthonia Emezie, MD, is a Pediatrician serving the children of Matthews, North Carolina, at Covenant Pediatrics, PA. She is also a Clinical Associate Professor, training PA and NP students in Pediatrics. Dr. Emezie completed her medical school training in Nigeria and was a General Practitioner before relocating to the United States.
Dr. Emezie completed her Residency at Howard University. She brings a wealth of almost 30 years of experience and knowledge to Covenant Pediatrics. Prior to starting Covenant Pediatrics, Dr. Emezie practiced medicine with one of the Charlotte area’s most well-known healthcare providers for more than eight years.
Dr. Emezie is married with five children, ages 16-25. She has experienced first-hand what parents go through from the newborn period through adolescence and beyond. She can readily identify with your needs as parents.
In her spare time, she enjoys reading her favorite book, the Bible. Dr. Emezie loves traveling and she has plans to visit all the 50 states of the USA.
